Again, no photo, but today was Metallica Wednesday. The best theme we could have come up with to get through our dragging mid-week work shift. It's simple if you would like to try, just take short breaks to blast Metallica during your work day to energize yourself. RAWK!

I planted my rhubarb bed today using rhubarb plants I found in random places on the property. I'm so excited for rhubarb jam, crisps, and rhubarb lemonade.

My friend gifted me a huge pile of art & craft & fashion books. It was like receiving a big pile of gold.

My family has a faithful annual tradition of making corned beef & cabbage for St. Patrick's day. I'm devoted to keeping the tradition alive. For the first time as an adult, I work nights and couldn't make the meal myself. My sweetie put together the meal for us & a few friends. He did a great job. It was delicious.

I made my fist batch of baklava. I watched my mom do it so many times growing up. I was pleased the phyllo dough was so easy to work with when I treated it with care.

My friends made a big delicious steaming pot of borscht & invited me to sit down with them even though I got off of work ridiculously late for a mid-week dinner party. Thank goodness for friends.
